Firearms Transfer

Firearms may be legally purchased online and by mail order as long as the transfer of the firearm is transacted by a licensed firearms dealer. I provide those transfer services for any buyer purchasing from individuals or businesses online or by mail order. After a winning bid or online order pay for your purchase then contact the Gunsmith and provide contact information for the seller including name, address, phone number, email address and whether this seller is an individual or a dealer. I will send the the seller a Vendor copy of my Federal Firearms License and he will ship the firearm to my business address. When your purchase arrives I will notify you and make an appointment for you to complete the required Federal Firearms Transfer Form and complete the National Instant Check at which time I will deliver your firearm to you. The cost for this service is $20.00 payable at the time of transfer. All transfers in South Carolina are subject to the NIC National Instant Check unless the buyer has a South Carolina issued CWP Concealed Weapons Permit. Purchasers are required to provide a government issued picture ID such as a Drivers License, a State ID Card or Military ID for identification. THE ADDRESS ON THE ID MUST BE CURRENT. Transfers of all legal firearms, (except fully automatic weapons, rifles and shotguns excluded due to barrel length or overall length restrictions and those equipped with silencers which require special licensing), can be made through this service. Machining Services

The gunsmith offers small part and prototype machining services and jig and fixture and indexable cutting tool repairs to individuals and manufacturers. Milling, Turning and Grinding of small parts and prototype parts is available. Repairs and modifications to Jig and fixture and indexable tools is available. Evaluation of repair requirements is necessary prior to accepting work. Machining Service Cost is $65.00 per Hour Service is based on an hourly rate and billed based on actual hours required. Quotes may be requested for specific multiple or recurring job requests. The Gunsmith also offers cutting tool and jig and fixture design services. Design Services The owner of The Gunsmith Dave Loudin has more than forty years experience in engineering and manufacturing in the structural steel and precision machining manufacturing industries with more than twenty five of those in the precision cutting tool industry. Responsible for design of and the manufacture of highspeed steel, solid and brazed carbide and indexable carbide tooling. If you have the need for a special cutting tool or fixture for your machining project and don't have an engineer with the time or experience to develop it for you The Gunsmith could be your answer. All finished designs will be presented complete with bill of materials in TurboCad, AutoCad, Drawing eXchange Format, PDF or many graphic picture formats as requested by the customer. Design and drawing services are not restricted to cutting tools and fixtures but includes prototype product design and architectural design for small construction projects not requiring a licensed architect. Design and Drawing Costs $65.00 per Hour Service is based on an hourly rate and billed based on actual hours required. Quotes may be requested for specific multiple or recurring job requests. At the customers request quotes can be obtained for the manufacture of the part or parts from machining facilities capable of manufacturing the part or parts. This may include a quote from The Gunsmith if it is within the capability of his equipment.
